From minibus to WAV and specialist vehicle adaptions, TBC Conversions have supplied businesses, organisations, families and private owners with adapted Volkswagens tailored to specific needs and requirements.
We’ve been converting vehicles for over 15 years now and are proud to be able to name ourselves as one of Volkswagen’s Recognised Converting partners.
No one wants to break down in their car period, but when it’s freezing cold, dark and wet, breakdowns become more than just an inconvenience; they can be a nightmare. So, to prevent the cold weather from affecting your WAV we’ve put together a checklist to help make sure your wheelchair accessible vehicle runs as it should through the colder months.
For 15 years, TBC Conversions have been working hard to make Motability wheelchair accessible vehicles that are safe, stylish, and simple to use. We convert and adapt a wide range of medium to large vehicles, from passenger cars like the Volkswagen Caddy WAV to larger drive from and internal transfer options like the Volkswagen T6.1 Range and Mercedes Sprinter.
We’re pleased to offer some insight into the newest WAV in our range; The Volkswagen Caddy 5.
It’s been a long time coming but live events are back, and we couldn’t be more excited to attend the first Live Kidz North Event in Liverpool organised by Disabled Living. Hosted this year at one of Liverpool’s most iconic conference and events centres the ACC Liverpool.
Read on to find out what to expect, how to register and what TBC Conversions will be bringing to the show for you all in 2021.

The time has come for TBC Conversions and other wheelchair car converters, mobility suppliers and accessibility services to come together at our first live event of 2021.
We couldn’t be more excited to be joining our audiences and other like-minded businesses at this extraordinary event. This will be the 46th Naidex Exhibition hosted this year at the Birmingham NEC on the 15th and 16th of September, and we know it’s going to be a great couple of days.
Since 1977 the Motability Scheme has helped disabled people, their families and carers reclaim their freedom and independence by delivering mobility to millions of people all over the UK. As more and more manufacturers joined the scheme over the years disabled people were given a variety of well-established vehicle makes and models to choose from, among them, it is Volkswagen Motability cars that stand out as the most reliable and easily adaptable options.
After a long year of isolation, social distancing and the cancellation of regularly scheduled events, the folks at Motability decided to take their Big Event online. Not only is this enabling the scheme and associated companies to showcase products and services to those who benefit from them, but helping those who could not or cannot attend live shows attend from the comfort of their own home.
Here’s a breakdown of how the show will take place over two days on the 6th and 7th of August.
