Nigel Allison, Leading Irish Artist, based in Ballymena, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland. Nigel's paintings cover all aspects of Irish Art, from landscapes to traditional Irish portraits.
Born in 1971 in Co. Antrim, Nigel Allison has established himself as a distinguished artist in the art world for over 30 years. Raised in a rural setting, his paintings are characterised by a nostalgic quality, as he seamlessly blends images from the past and present to create emotionally charged narratives.
With each brushstroke, Nigel demonstrates remarkable skill and artistry, creating a dynamic array of colors that are full of life and energy. His paintings are highly sought after and held in private collections, throughout Ireland, England, and the United States.
At Nigel Allison Irish Art, I mainly paint country scenes and coastly subjects from around North Antrim and Donegal. I like to capture the atmosphere and sense of movement in my paintings and also creating a painterly feel on the canvas.
