We are delighted with the 6 wheelchair accessible vehicles that were delivered by TBC Taxi and Bus Conversions. The build quality was excellent and fully complied with our specification requirements. Of particular interest to fleet operations is the reliability of the cantilever side step and Braun inboard passenger lift, something we will continue to monitor closely. In 2012, TBC Specialist Conversions tendered for and were awarded a 3-year contract to convert both new and current vehicles on the Northern Ireland Water Fleet. In that time they have successfully converted a wide range of vehicles on our fleet, from small vans through to our large double-decker Education bus. I find them accommodating and flexible and their team have built up excellent relationships with both our depot managers and technicians on the ground which makes my life as a procurement manager a lot less complicated. We have recently reviewed the 3-year contract and have agreed to extend this for a further year.
